Mr. Moisan practices mainly in the fields of civil and commercial litigation with emphasis on complex technical litigation that requires the management of considerable expert evidence. A significant part of is practice is dedicated to professional liability and environmental litigation, including defending class actions.
In the field of professional liability, he has notably acted as counsel over a ten years period for health professionals in a wide variety of both civil and disciplinary cases. In the field of environmental law, he was involved in several cases related to soil and groundwater contamination, as well as in major nuisance cases, notably related to some of the largest energy projects in the Province of Quebec. He also represents and counsels institutional clients, contractors and expert consultants in several aspects related to construction law.
Mr. Moisan is regularly called upon to plead before civil courts, as well as various administrative tribunals and quasi-judicial boards.
