Ms. Sarah Routhier practises mainly in the field of transport law.
She joined the firm as a lawyer after completing her articling in 2016. Her practice focuses on regulatory, penal and commercial litigation, as well as on the contractual, administrative, commercial and regulatory aspects of freight and passengers transportations in Canada.
In particular, she practices in the field of regulatory compliance issues related to ownership and operation of heavy-weight vehicles. She is also involved in the preparation of conduct reviews before the Commission des transports du Québec resulting from deterioration of records under the Conduct Review Policy for Heavy Vehicle Owners and Operator (in particular in relation to a fatal accident, a critical event or failure on a facility audit), and she frequently intervenes with the regulatory enforcement authorities, such as Contrôle routier Québec and the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec.
