Catherine Cloutier


Professional career


Ms. Catherine Cloutier practices mainly in the fields of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Civil and Professional Liability and Labour and Employment Law.

She is involved in different cases, especially relating to civil and contractual liability, including manufacturer liability and bodily injury, as well as in the fields of insurance, construction, labour relations, occupational health and safety, access to information and protection of personal information law.

Ms. Cloutier’s areas of practice include all aspects of litigation, from counselling clients to dispute resolution, and representations before the Courts. She has represented clients as Plaintiff as well as Defendant, before various Courts of civil and administrative jurisdiction.

Ms. Cloutier also supports different clients in the update of their respective files with the Registry of lobbyists.


During her education, Ms. Cloutier has acted as a teaching assistant in connection with the coordination of professional training in community organizations. Since 2010, she participated to the writing of specialised articles dealing with different topics such as civil proceedings and occupational health and safety. She also wrote articles with respect to access to information and protection of personal information.

Ms. Cloutier is a member of AFAQ and AAPI.

She serves on the Board of directors of the Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Québec.
