Amélie Quoibion

Professional career

Ms. Amélie Quoibion practices primarily in the area of intellectual property.

With regards to her practice in intellectual property, she manages the firm clients’ trademarks, advises and assists them in the registration, development and protection of their trade-marks in Canada and abroad, and drafts and negotiates various types of agreements related to the protection of intellectual property, including licensing and right of use agreements. She also represents them in intellectual property disputes before the administrative bodies of the CIPO Opposition Board and the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, and various domain name arbitration bodies.

Ms. Quoibion completed her law degree at the Université Laval in 2020. She was called to the Bar in 2022 after completing her articling at our firm. During her training, she had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for several professors at the Faculté de droit and completed an internship at the Tribunal administratif du Québec.

She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from l’Université Laval and a master’s degree in human genetics from McGill University.
