Mr. David Ferland practises mainly in the fields of Civil Law, Administrative and Municipal Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Real Estate Law.

He practices in civil and commercial litigation, more specially in the areas of Civil Liability (contractual and extra-contractual or tort, call for tenders, intellectual property, sale and lease, security interest) and administrative Law. He has specific knowledge in civil procedure matters.

He collaborated with Me Louise Jacques at the writing of the work entitled «Les recours hypothécaires», 1st edition, published in 2000 by Les Éditions Yvon Blais. He is author of many articles in the Journal l’Équipe published by Camping Quebec Association and By Stein Monast, and co-author of the work entitled «Précis de procédure civile du Québec», 6th edition, volume 2, «Titre II : L’arbitrage», published in 2020 by Les Éditions Yvon Blais.

He was also lecturer as part of the Code of civil procedure’s Reform.

Litigation known as “The Pyrite”, in Trois-Rivières;

Intellectual property litigation in the domain of university teaching, in Quebec.
