Our Intellectual Property Team bring together lawyers and trade-mark agents registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). Our professionals provide expert advice and support to clients in the management, optimization and protection of their trade-marks and copyrights in Canada and abroad, assisted by a wide network of contacts. They will also help with the drafting of intellectual property agreements such as, inter alia, Product Marketing Agreements, Licence Agreements, Product Use Agreements as well as Technology Transfer Agreements.

Members of our Intellectual Property Team have also developed a solid expertise in trade-mark and trade-name confusion matters, where they counsel and accompany clients in the event of litigation or opposition before administrative bodies of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the Quebec Registrar of Companies, as well as before the various jurisdiction engaged in domain name matters.

Our professionals also have the requisite knowledge and expertise to assist clients with the implementation of a dedicated Francization Program, or in the event of a complaint raised by the Office de la langue française in respect of their compliance with public signage Policy.
