Bois d’œuvre Cedrico, a well-established company in the forestry sector, has recently acquired PBM Solutions Structures, a firm specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of open-web joists, roof trusses and prefabricated walls.
This acquisition is part of Cedrico’s strategy to diversify its business activities and strengthen its presence in the industrial sector. By joining forces, Cedrico and PBM aim to offer sustainable, affordable, and innovative solutions in a context marked by the housing crisis.
Both companies will retain their names, their respective organizational structures, and all existing jobs at the Saint-Pierre-de-Lamy, Saint-Germain-de-Grantham, and Joliette sites, while leveraging their complementary expertise to enhance their offering with high-quality products sourced from Quebec’s forests.
Stein Monast is proud to have acted as legal counsel to Bois d’œuvre Cedrico in this transaction.
