Chantal Savard practises mainly in the fields of securities law, bank financing as well as corporate and commercial law.
Ms Savard joined Stein Monast with the merger with the firm Huot Laflamme in 2003. She worked as paralegal in the field of securities law at iA Financial Group from 2016 to 2018, and then came back with us in 2019.
She works particularly on private and public financings, acquisitions and mergers. She supports the professionals of her team on all of the aspects relating to corporate governance and continuous disclosure of the reporting issuers and in matters such as drafting corporate and regulatory documents. She is involved in the preparation and the drafting of all the legal documentation for these files. She also conducts due diligence reviews for corporations with respect to financing activities and the purchase and sale of corporations.
