Mr. Xavier Parenteau practises mainly in the fields of labour and employment law, access to information and protection of personal information law and civil and administrative litigation.
Mr. Xavier Parenteau joined the firm as a lawyer after completing his articling program. He practises mainly in the fields of labour and employment law. He advises and represents governmental bodies as well as unionized and non-unionized corporations in a variety of sectors with respect to individual and collective workplace relations, labor standards, accreditation, occupational health and safety, human rights and pay equity.
Moreover, in access to information and protection of personal information law, he is involved in the preparation of training programs, advises clients on management practices and requests for access or rectification, and represents them before specialized tribunals.
Within the course of his practice, his expertise is also called upon in various civil and administrative litigation cases.
During his law studies, Mr. Parenteau completed an internship with the Court of Quebec judicial authorities and received an award for his skills in legal drafting.
