Ms. Sylvie Drouin practises mainly in the fields of real estate, public and private financing, estates planning and assets protection.
Member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec since 1994, Me Drouin operated her own cabinet for 14 years before joining the firm, in 2008, as the sole notary. Partner of the firm, she is now coordinating the notarial law sector which currently includes eight (8) notaries.
Regularly involved in acquisition, sale, financing and corporate reorganization transactions, she represents and advises major players in the province of Québec, such as public bodies, private companies, financial institutions and church organizations. Accordingly, she principally drafts real estate, civil and commercial deeds.
She practices also in the fields of family law, human rights and succession. She is particularly interested in estate planning, notably in the drafting of standard wills, trust wills, general power of attorney, general power of attorney and protection mandates. She is also involved in estate settlement.
