Professional career

Ms. Maude-Émilie Letarte practises mainly in the fields of securities, corporate and commercial law.

Ms. Letarte joined the firm as a lawyer after completing her articling position in December 2021. During her law studies, Ms. Letarte worked in a brokerage firm in Quebec City, where she had the chance to perfect her knowledge in the financial field. Ms. Letarte assists issuers in matters such as drafting corporate and regulatory documents and with their obligations concerning continuous disclosure. More specifically, she focuses her practise on financing transaction for public issuers through initial public offering, prospectus or private placement, and on merger and acquisition.

– Public offering by way of prospectus supplement of US$22 million – Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc.

– Public equity offering of $10 million by way of prospectus (bought deal) – OpSens inc.

– Creation of a new alternative fund by RGP Investment

– International private offering of US$50 million by way of unsecured convertible notes – Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc.

– Qualifying Transaction between Orletto Capital II Inc. and Charbone Corporation and listing of the common shares of the resulting corporation, Charbone Hydrogen Corporation, on the TSX Venture Exchange

– Public offering by way of prospectus supplement (at the market offering) up to US$75 million – Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc.

– Private equity offering of $14.4 million (brokered placement) – Monarch Mining Corporation

– Private equity offering (brokered placement – flow-through shares) of $6.7 million – Radisson Mining Resources Inc.

– Private equity offering of $10 million – Groupe Santé Devonian Inc.
