As a paralegal in transportation law, Marie Lavoie works on matters involving owners and operators of heavy vehicles.
Ms. Lavoie participates in the safety profile monitoring of our motor carrier clients, analyzes the events found in these profiles, and submits requests to various regulatory entities. She also collaborates to the management of damage claims resulting from accidents involving heavy vehicles. In doing both, she deals with administrations and legal authorities throughout Canada and the United States.
She also contributes to facility audit simulations aimed at helping motor carriers determine if they are fulfilling their obligations. She thus examines drivers and vehicles records with her sense of organization and attention to detail.
Marie Lavoie has had the opportunity to acquire, during the last 20 years, a varied experience in banking law, civil and corporate litigation and a solid experience in transportation law for more than 5 years now.
