Mr. Gabriel C. Robitaille’s practice is mainly focused on transportation law.
He represents and advises a clientele consisting mainly of actors in the passenger and goods transportation industry in various matters before the Commission des transports du Québec, including permit applications and conduct review hearings resulting from the deterioration of records under conduct review policies regarding owners, operators and drivers of heavy vehicles.
He is also called upon to make representations before the courts of penal jurisdiction regarding penal and regulatory offences, participates in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, advises actors in the transportation industry on the management of their regulatory obligations and intervenes with the regulatory enforcement authorities, such as the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec and Contrôle routier Québec.
He is frequently involved in multidisciplinary teams, including lawyers specializing in business, immigration and labor and employment law.
He participated in the writing of books and publications on transportation law, and has given numerous training courses to various actors in the transportation industry.
