Ms. Emie Morantin practises mainly in the field of intellectual property law.
Ms. Morantin is a member of the Quebec Bar and the Paris Bar. Her Masters degrees in law in France and in Canada led her to acquire a strong knowledge for the benefits of her legal practice. She has practiced in litigation and transaction in intellectual property and new technologies in France for international companies and law firms. Her thesis on the Legal protection of video games was published by the Laval University.
Ms. Morantin is involved in the implementation of strategies for the acquisition, protection, enhancement and defense of intellectual property rights of the firm’s clients. She assists clients in the registration process of their trademarks and in the management of the trademark portfolios in Canada and abroad. She represents the firm’s clients in administrative and judicial proceedings in all litigation involving intellectual property, video games, IT, digital, data protection, industrial risks involving new technologies.
